All About Me

My name is Jordan Ashley and I live in Maryland. I am 13 years old and am a Freshman in High School.  I have been twirling for more than 10  years as a member of the American Salute Twirling Corps. Under the direction of my coach, Kellye Vermillion, I have won several National, Mid-Atlantic Regional, and Maryland State titles over the past few years for both the National Baton Twirling Association (NBTA) and the United States Twirling Association (USTA). Through my twirling experiences, I have learned the importance of dedication, determination, and good sportsmanship—and am looking forward to learning much more in the future.

Other activities I enjoy are playing outdoors with my cousins CJ, Jesse, Lanny, and Christian; playing with my smaller cousins Alana, Nancy, Levi, and Kenny III; riding four-wheelers; playing on the computer (myspace and Facebook of course); swimming; scrapbooking with my mom; listening to all types of music; and playing Playstation (especially baseball) with my dad. I also enjoy watching the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles play baseball.

I don't have any brothers or sisters, but I do have a really cool Chihuahua named Amigo Sanchez. He is five years old and has lots of energy. He loves to play ball and go for long walks. He is very picky about who he likes. He keeps my dad company while my mom and I travel to baton competitions. I also have a crazy cat named Zeek.
